Recently, Bloomberg faced scrutiny in his first Democratic presidential debate, falling short of expectations.

Overconfidence and Distance

Bloomberg's demeanor during the debate was characterized by a sense of aloofness and annoyance. His approach appeared to stem from over-confidence, believing that his extensive ad spending would be enough to ensure his success. However, this strategy did not pay off, as many voters were left with a perception of someone who is reluctant to engage and whose communication style seemed robotic.
