How to Check Your SBI Account Balance Without Visiting a Branch

Checking your savings account balance at State Bank of India (SBI) has never been easier. Gone are the days when one had to physically visit a bank branch just to know the status of their account. Nowadays, with the increasing integration of digital tools and services, you can easily monitor your SBI account balance from your smart device.

Options to Check Your SBI Account Balance

Here are some convenient and easy methods to check your SBI saving account balance:

1. Yono SBI App

The Yono SBI app provides a seamless platform to manage your SBI account. Download the app on your mobile device and sign in using your registered credentials. Once you're logged in, simply navigate to the account balance section to view your current balance. This app also offers other features such as transaction history, mini statements, and bill payments, making it a one-stop solution for all your banking needs.

2. Internet Banking

Using SBI's internet banking service is another convenient way to check your account balance. You can log in to the SBI online banking portal with your net banking credentials and access your account balance from the dashboard. This method also allows you to perform various transactions and view account details in real-time. Make sure your internet connection is stable for a smooth experience.

3. UPI Apps Integration

Integrating your SBI account with a UPI (Unified Payment Interface) app like Google Pay, Paytm, or PhonePe is one more effortless way to check your account balance. Once you connect your SBI account with these apps, you can simply open the app, select your account, and view the balance immediately. These apps typically offer additional features such as bill payments, transfers, and top-ups, adding convenience to your financial management.

4. ATMs

If you have a nearby ATM with your SBI debit card, you can check your balance using it. Insert your card into the ATM and select the account balance option to view your current balance. This method is quick and convenient when you're away from your home or office but still need to check your account balance.

Alternative Methods for Non-Digitally Enhanced Devices

For those who might not have access to modern mobile devices or the internet, SBI offers alternative methods to check your account balance:

1. NUUP Services

For users with a feature phone, SBI offers NUUP (Non-User Unrouting Proxy) services. You can register for these services by sending an SMS to 9223440000 from your registered mobile number with the message “MBSREG Account No.”. After receiving a confirmation message, you can dial 99 to access NUUP services. Here, you can choose options to find out your account balance and mini-statement.

2. SMS-Based Mini Statements

For users with Java-capable feature phones, SBI provides a quick solution through the SBI Quick app. Dial a missed call to 1800-211-1051, and you will receive an SMS with your account details, including the balance and mini-statement. This method is particularly useful for users without internet access or who prefer SMS-based solutions.
