Exploring the New Design of the 20 Swiss Francs Currency: A Positive Change?
I am a huge fan of the new 20 Swiss Franc bills! It's finally a relief to see no dead people featured on my currency bills. This is a much needed change to our bills that have, until now, featured historical figures.
Believe it or not, I do not see the reason for placing historical figures on currency bills. We have had them for a long time now. However, the new design introduces something more relevant and appealing.
Although I appreciated the presence of historical figures on previous bills, they served as a learning tool, allowing one to gain new insights and knowledge with each note. The new design, on the other hand, is not just educational but also practical. The vibrant new color scheme, which aims at green, adds a lively and modern touch to the bills.
Additionally, the bills have a sturdy paper quality almost comparable to fabric, making them feel more substantial and durable. The "feel features" designed for the visually impaired are innovative and state of the art. Each note has incorporated distinct tactile elements that convey information to the touch, enhancing the bill's accessibility for those who cannot see.
Indeed, the more one examines the new bill, the more one appreciates its detailed design. The hologram, the Swiss cross (both transparent and 'punched'), and the relief lines of the mountains all contribute to an overall stunning and impressive result. These elements not only make the currency visually appealing but also provide a secure and authentic note for every transaction.
Some might argue that the introduction of new elements could be distracting or confuse users. However, the intricate and elegant design of the new 20 Swiss Francs ensures that each feature serves a purpose and contributes to the overall aesthetic and functionality of the bills.
Interestingly, I have already forgotten what the old 50-chf note looks like. It seems that the new design has a way of overshadowing the old, which is not necessarily a bad thing. Sometimes, a change brings about a fresh perspective and modernization, and the new 20 Francs is a prime example of this.
For reference, the new design is centered around the green color, along with beautiful butterflies and a globe symbol. While the green hue is my favorite, I appreciate that these elements blend well with the hand print featured on every note, creating a harmonious and cohesive design.
Overall, the new design of the 20 Swiss Francs currency is a positive change, offering both visual appeal and improved security features. It's a reminder that currency can and should evolve to meet contemporary needs, making it a delightful and practical tool for everyday transactions.
